Location
This fine pepple beach can only be arrived on by privat boat, taxi boat, or
excursion boat.

Beschreibung
The golden Hilltop beach is written about in the tourist information pamphlet.
It is known for its endangered species of Vultures that dwell in the uppen golden hills.
Special for this beach are caves and amazing snorkeling.

2. Oprna

Location
Directly under to the right of Stara Baška is the most beautiful, friendly beach on all of Island Krk.
Parking is available above the beach with a footpath leading to the beach.

Description
The bay is 120 meters with crystal clear water, offering swimming, snorkling and sun bathing.
No natural shade, bring own umbrella and water shoes.
Specials
In high season the Beach bar is open, offering drinks and snacks.
Rental umbrella and lounge chairs are also there.

3. Zaglav

Location
A short distance from Stara Baška, between the bay of Oprna and Camp “Škrila” is the wonderful bay Zaglov.
Parking is available on the hilltop and path leads to the beach.

Description
This bay invites you to snorkel, swim and linger at leisure.
No natural shade, bring your own umbrella and water shoes.

4. Stara Baška

Lage
Im langgezogenen Ort Stara Baška gibt es verschiedene Strände mit ein paar Felsen. Es befinden sich im Ort Parkplätze welche allerdings kostenpflichtig sind. Nach einem kurzen Fussweg sind alle Strände erreichbar.

Beschreibung
Im Ort ist genug Infrastruktur vorhanden aber es gibt dort so gut wie keinen natürlichen Schatten. Sie sollten sich also
Sonnenschirme und Badeschuhe mitbringen.

5. Petehova

Location
The wild bay Petehova is south east from Stara Baška, that can be only arrived on an unpaved road with the Car or foot. However, the last piece of the path is by foot only.

Description
The wild bay Petehova does not have natural shade, one must bring his own umbrella and water shoes.

Specials
The villa of former Italien Minister Silvio Berlusconi is located in the hilltop
overlooking the beach and is mostly unoccupied.

6. Zala Draga

Location
Zala Draga is South East from Stara Baška past the bay Petehova and followed immediately by Zala Draga, arrival is either by car or foot on an unpaved road. However, the last piece of the road is a foot path only.

Description
This natural beach also has no shade. Therefore, bring your own umbrella
and water shoes.

Specials
During High season there is a bar offering drinks and snacks.

7. Surbova

Location
Not exactly 1,5 km south east from Stara Baška is the bay Surbova.
It is a wild natural beach that can only be arrived on a unpaved road either by
car or foot. However the last piece of the path is by foot only.
On the way to Surbova, one will pass the beaches of Petehova, Zala Draga.
Description
Wild natural beach does not have natural shade or infrastructure.
Therefore, one must bring his own umbrella and water shoes.
